Poise & Power — Original Acrylic Painting by Christen Zeleznik

Poise & Power explores the tension between strength and softness through movement, color, and abstraction. A powerful female figure emerges from layered fields of plum, blush, pink, and cream, her form broken into unexpected shapes and shifting color.

Inspired by the beauty of a woman who can be both strong and soft, the piece celebrates femininity without fragility—physical strength alongside grace, confidence, and movement.

Loose brushwork, fragmented color, and moments of negative space allow the figure to move between representation and abstraction, revealing something new the longer you look.
